Top-notch training –

hands-on and tailored to specific needs
Maintaining a well-trained staff has always been a priority at Fluid Mechanics. We train our technicians and our customers on an ongoing basis to make sure they are kept up-to-date on the latest techniques and on new products.
Training is conducted in our Cleveland, OH and Fort Lauderdale, FL locations as well as at customer locations.
Fluid Mechanics LLC’s training courses feature active, hands-on training to reinforce what is taught in the classroom. We try and limit class size to ten or fifteen technicians and we target a fifty-fifty classroom to hands-on training ratio.
On request, we can also conduct training at a customer location. In all cases, training is focused on a particular fuel injection pump and fuel injector – and, of course, tailored to the needs of the technicians. Training in both Cleveland and Fort Lauderdale features testing and calibration of the fuel injection pump on a test stand.
Calibration & testing –
for optimized performance
for optimized performance
Recent customer feedback indicates that up to a 5% fuel savings can be achieved when pumps are tested & calibrated.
Calibration and testing of fuel injection pumps for medium-speed diesel engines is what sets Fluid Mechanics apart from other fuel system parts and service providers.
Pumps are checked for leaks, tested and calibrated to assure proper delivery and performance. Results are compared against master pumps to ensure accuracy and quality.
Injectors are tested after every rebuild. Pop-off pressure is set to specifications.
Injectors are extensively tested for:
- Atomization
- Spray angle
- Leak down
- Drips
- Chatter
